The Moogs were one of the eminent tribe among the six Median tribes that they have built by Dyako, the religious sources mentioned this tribe name as (Majos), particularly, the holy Quran mentioned the name of (Majos), the ancient language Kurdish Avesta was Moogs, correspondingly, most of the Arabs utters Majos and they say it is a mistake to call them fire worshipers. Indeed, they were not firing worshipers but the fire had a significant base in their religion because it wasn’t extinguished in their temples. Also, Zerdasht became a member of the Moogs tribe and he was born in Uremia after the Zerdasht religion had diffused it became the formal religion of the Median, Akhmenian and Sasany states. The Moogs became the real owner and administrated the religious affairs of Zerdashti in the state.
Having lots of Zerdashti temples in Kurdistan relics such as Nawe, Qzqapan, Darbendi Bazyan and Derbanikhan relics is a piece of evidence that demonstrated Kurdish people were Zerdashti but in the appearance of Islam, Zerdashti was faded going to ruin. Then the word Majosi was used as an abused word opposite the Kurds and Persian by the Arabs. A bloody war had started between both sides ultimately Dara killed the Moogs leader, in that way Dara and his friends won the war. The Persian executed the Moog leaders and hanging them on the entrance of the palace, the Persian killed most of the Moogs, they had celebrated for their won, and they named the day of the Moogs beheading.
