On May 23, 2023, by the official invitation of Mr. Liu Zhenyong Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in the Kurdistan Region, the head and administrative staff of (Chawy Kurd Center for Political Development) had an important meeting with him in Grand Millennium Hotel In Sulaymanyeah.
In the meeting, the Consul General of the Republic of China highlighted the continuity of their coordination and cooperation with the Chawy Kurd Center in the areas of culture, education, research and developments. He likewise stressed the importance of these relations in order to develop cultural relations and friendship between nations, and in this regard, he concentrated on the significance of the Chawy Kurd Center and its work.
On behalf of the staff of Chawy Kurd Center, the head of Chawy Kurd Center thanked the Chinese Consulate for their cooperation and coordination with Chawy Kurd Center. Meanwhile, he briefly talk about the need to pay serious attention to the intellectual and cultural fields as a space for diplomatic work in order to introduce nations to each other and build peace and cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, numerous academic projects were proposed by the Chawy Kurd Center for Mr. Liu to work on and evaluated by him and decided to work on them in the future.
