Economic planning is scientific method for behalf of managing different state’s issues in present and future. Economic planning derives by economic experts who emphasized on psychological and environmental situation of the state. Moreover, they depend on verified data and information. Economic planning has significant roles in most of its economic sectors and has direct relations within present and future success and falls of it.
The concept of Planning
It is ideological basic view that one prepare to achieve a goal that one will implement later, or it is a suggesting a number of actions and steps to ensure a goal.
The definitions of Economic planning, means predicting what will happen in the future by preparing for that forecast.
Types of planning:
1.Long-term plan; its period is between three to five years and sometimes it consists of twenty five years in which the organization or government is setting inclusive and diverse lines for economic and social development.
2.Medium plan; its period is between one year to three years, and this type of plan is known to be more explained according to its specific goals. It is less inclusive than the long-term plan.
3.Short-term plan; its period is less than a year and it is known as functional side. This type is further explained by determining and explaining of the object. This is less inclusive than the medium plan.
In sum, it can consume that the planning is an interference of the state to adapt awareness amid national products and social needs. However, if we want to implement economic planning;
For example, imposing taxes on individuals, we will face several obstacles in front of the process which is not paying taxes by seniors.
At present, what is going on Iraq and Kurdistan region is normal to have some of economic absences. In the same time, the important thing is to indicate the diagnoses and trying to find its solutions.
Regards to Kurdistan region’s economy, the authority sides of the region recently are working on reform agenda in order to overwhelm on the crisis. For instance, now they are working on the policy of austerity through importing oils directly by the government. Meanwhile, administrative reform was the beginning of solving long-term problems through changes in the public sector and trying to diversity economic resources.
