The Essence of Politics and Government
Politics is recognized wherever people live together. Politics is not considered one of the opportunistic and beneficial forms of society, but is one of the necessary forms of society. In any society, there are a series of two-sided needs and evidence or a number of difficult situations that require special attention, and one of the reasons for the emergence of such a situation is that every society needs it. In order to defend against external parties and ensure its internal security, a number of ways take place. At this point, a framework and rules for resolving problems and tensions can be discussed. If these problems in society have led to violence, then the only important thing that is threatened is the security of society. Only structures established through political processes such as security forces, police or administrative institutions can meet the above needs.
“Definition of Policy”
Politics in a system of governance is the process through which political society collectively makes decisions about the issues facing society. Politics is a nonviolent process. The rise of violence means the collapse of politics. Philosophers argue that politics is a human characteristic, while violence is an animal characteristic. Political life provides this opportunity for one to access things that one cannot achieve alone and as an individual.
“Politics and politicians”
Politics is impossible without those who lead the political process. “Politicians” are those who have approached the subject in a critical and expert manner.
“Different views on politics”
Students of politics have often expressed different and generally contradictory views on how we should understand politics. Therefore, the understanding of politics can be divided into several types:
– Politics as the highest form of human activity. The proper organization of human affairs is the same as the subject of politics by its best definition. This activity defines man as a “political animal”.
– Politics as an indisputable response to the needs to organize human affairs in a harmonious and unsafe environment that requires collective decision-making.
– Politics as a necessary evil to carry out the part of the work that requires coordination and harmony, such as establishing social security and peace.
“Government, Politics and Citizenship”
There is a famous saying that says, “You may not have an interest in politics, but politics has an interest in you”. This sentence, although dry and frightening, contains a truth on the basis that politics affects everyone, both those who are interested in politics and those who are not. They should have no desire for political life. In some political systems, political outcomes are not available to ordinary people and individuals in society. In democratic systems, however, it is the “ordinary people” who have lost the highest degree of power in the country in a public and collective form; That is, the same position of citizenship in a political system that is the essence of democratic governance. Politics and government may be a necessity of social life, but in democratic systems, ordinary citizens have the opportunity to have their voices heard in the way government and politics are conducted.
