The incidents of war on terror, fall of Taliban and their return to Kabul, within Afghanistan’s unfinished wars are one-century uncompleted wars. However, over the past hundred years, these wars grasp new cover and names.
Describing the history of this conflict, without going back to the events of 1946, it will not be important for logical explanation and analyze economic and political interests of the World’s Powers, such as (Russia, the United States, China, Europeans).
Why the Middle East and the current War in Afghanistan?
Between 1935 and 1948, Haifa-Kirkuk oil pipeline was designed to transport Kirkuk’s oil to the Port of Haifa and the Mediterranean Sea, the main purpose of the pipeline was to transport Kirkuk’s unfinished prosperity to energy markets and also to protecting the energy security of the United States, Europe and Israel. But the history of the past hundred years was full of various wars and was not lead to implementing that dream. Furthermore, from 2001 to 2003, one of the main reasons for the wars on terror in Afghanistan and Iraq was provision of energy security for the United States, the West and Israel.
In another meaning, both the United States and Israel, in cooperation with Europe, tried to restart the line from 2001 to 2003. At that time, in cooperation with Ahmed Chalabi, the Americans were trying hard to revive the pipeline but they were unsuccessful until this moment.
Do the events behind curtain are just Afghanistan or connected-series?
Although the media broadcasting and the world’s hot issue are retaking Afghanistan by the Taliban, this event is just a promo of a new geostrategic film that will happen in the area, because the chronology of the events explains the following to us:
1.From 1946 to 1979 any attempts, plans, and wars at the era by the United States, Britain and other European countries was to prevent and weaken Russian power in the Middle East, Central Asia and North Africa. In particular, Cuba War has become creation of theatres in Asian countries in geopolitical balances. This resulted in invasion of Afghanistan and risen Iranian Islamic Revolution. Thus in a result, western Israel was unable to remove Russia from the oil of the Middle East and North Africa, in addition Iran and Russia were getting closer.
2.From 1980 to 2000, the Iraq-Iran war and the collapse of the Soviet Union did not close doors to Russia and China to take profit from prosperity of the Middle East, in addition to this, Russia could be able to make problems for the US and European energy pipelines due to protect its security and to be able to announce new projects.
3.2001-2021 is considered a growing period in the international system, particularly in the issue of democracy, and economic schools. The war on terror has changed most of the regional and international formula. Meanwhile, the Arab Spring and the ISIS war has explained everything clearly, however, the most significant event of this period was Russia’s restoration and strengthening in the Middle East, in Syria and in North Africa, even leading to a rapprochement an agreement with Saudi Arabia (American -Russian alliance).
Result:
Russia returned to the region, china provides huge amounts of money and loans to the countries of the region, but keeping a balance of power among these changes is not easy and it requires state diplomacy particularly, in dealing with US interests and dissimilarity between republican and democratic policies on terrorism and their policies in the Middle East.
The summit of Baghdad’s regional countries at the end of this month is similar to the alternative belt of northern 1955, but in this century, Egypt’s policy, as well as the Agreement between Israel with EU and Bahrain has made the formula harder. This is in addition to the fact that roles of Kurdistan region are much different from last fifties.
From 1946 to 2021, despite dealing with changes they had made, Kurds and Kurdistan faced many obstacles in conflicts between the US and Russia. There have recorded several sovereignties in Kurdish policy, but more precisely there are three vital economic events that history can not erase them, which are:
The era of Barzani’s remaining in the Soviet Union, Kurdistan’s politics in Isis era in the energy field (the new version of the Haifa pipeline), and Nechirvan Barzani-Russia oil agreement post-2017.
Understanding from the Kurdistan’s politics in these formula and reading these events will clarify Kurdistan’s future vision, and Afghanistan is a promo for these new changes, but Kurdistan’s policy between 2003 and 2017 jumped huge steps which till now has not felt in margins of Kurdish sources.
