It is common people in this world think differently; those who think widely can achieve more opportunity and development. However, the narrow minded people cannot reach their goals; this is an acceptable opinion in everywhere. In the history of humanity, those nations have formed their own position, strong power and immense ambition; they became larger and powerful because their aims were great.

The essential point I would like to discuss about it is the position of Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) or southern Kurdistan between international and territorial games. In spite of having various strategic issues, but KRG is a remarkable player nationally and territorially. To become stronger, it needs to progress that national game. This means, the majority individuals of that nation works together in a center of decision due to expand the impact of its authority.

Kurdish nation is one of the largest nation around the world without having its country, the significant cause behind this, it is lacking of international games and center of decision or a leadership for this great nation. What are the reasons behind this? I will leave for others or I will discuss in the next time. Currently, KRG is the best place to be a good player in these international games for those reasons:

1-KRG has confessed by the Iraqi constitution formally while Iraq is accounted an autocratic country.

2-It is also accepted by its neighbors (Turkey and Iran); even they don’t like KRG has an autonomous position but they compete each other for more relations with this region.

3-Internationally, has a great position, many times dealing with it as an independent country, additionally, around 30 consulates have been opened in KRG.

4-Internally, it has government, parliament, flag and infrastructure with all fundamental of becoming a country.

5-A good economy if great issues will not exist and different sources for developing economy like (oil and gas) with extra natural resources.

6-The official name is Kurdistan which is a national name 100%, this name came from the unaccountable oppressions against its citizens; also, it has international support.

Thus, KRG has to start this international game by creating a strong intimacy or building a robust relation with all Kurds in the world. Southern Kurdistan becomes a center and administration of all Kurds. Though, it can be difficult for the narrow minded but for those who have a wide goal it is possible. Government, region and parliament presidency are responsible for developing this case, above all, Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) because this party is well-known as a nationalist and more political than other parties in KRG. In order to reinforce KRG, an international game is needed; because it progresses the issue of this great nation, for instance, the Kurdish people in Diaspora improved when they participate in the Kurdish national celebrations and took part in the process of referendum enthusiastically. Unfortunately, I don’t believe this message has been confirmed or researched by the authorities or researchers of this region.

This is a huge gap among Kurdish elites when they have forgotten the Kurdish case while they concentrate on miner problems internally. Today, most of the authors’ topics are focused on the local crisis; they don’t work on the national topics. The independent authors and those who close to KDP have to know, the national games requires writing and research about the higher goals of this nation, not wasting time for the local crisis because eventually majority chases the minority. In reality, some of them hired their pens under the name of corruption and their aims are clear but the national writers have not taken their times to respond them.

Now, it is time to emphasize on the other parts of Kurdish people around the world and I classified them into three main points:

1-Kurds of other parts of Kurdistan (north, east and west).

2-Those Kurds whom they live outside the great Kurdistan and the protected their language and nationalist such as (Khorasan, Faily, Kazakhstan, Armenia, etc,)

3-Those who cannot speak Kurdish but they didn’t forget their identity as a Kurd like (Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, etc.)

Working on such a case is essential while this case has been forgotten for a long time by the KRG responsibilities even that national game will not exist. This game implements the national security. It is unbelievable, a great nation like Kurd doesn’t have a center of decision so far and it is related to the elite of authorities in this region whom they think t narrowly.

I would like to clarify those public sides of national games which are responsibilities on KRG’s shoulder. The only person suit to this duty is president Barzani or his headquarter. Barzani has an enormous experience with his own charisma and those people who live abroad really admire him. So, this game for Barzani is easier because politically, he has a particular position locally and internationally.

KRG didn’t work seriously on the Kurds in north, east and west even it is not easy to do such a kind of work by an autonomous region but it was better psychologically those parts had an intimacy for KRG. Due to create the national unity and the center of decision, it is better to work on it in variable ways:

Politically: KRG has to avoid of military support of the Kurds in east and north, it is better to take care on its situation in the area. Moreover, the appropriate way is solving their problems peacefully, for example, the peace process of north part with Turkey. Similarly, the initiative of gathering the east parties was very good while both works didn’t achieve its goals.

An excellent relation is needed with north Kurdistan parties materially and morally. In west Kurdistan there is no such a permitted Kurdish party, it is better to establish a group or a civil party like north to ask for the Kurds rights. Regarding to the east of Kurdistan, it is under the control of Kurdish armies; KRG has to create a healthy and continues relation with their parties while a few obstacle can be seen but it relates to the competition among the parties. Also, the eastern authorities should know it is their benefits to work under the responsibility of KRG because of its significant situation. Likewise, KRG can have a great role in solving the problems between Turkey and west Kurdistan and the local issues with other parties.

Economically: in spite having the economic crisis in the past years, but now economy is going to evolve in KRG. The responsibilities of KRG have to support the people of other Kurdistan parts, not through funds, by developing their business with Iran and Turkey and try to open more borders with both country, eventually, most of those people are working in that field are Kurds geographically. Furthermore, presenting more facilities such as creating a free trading zone, direct fly from KRG to north and east Kurdish cities, etc. all these works are giving profits to the Kurdish citizens in all three parts and they aren’t becoming danger on changing Kurdish demography like other nationalities.

Concerning to the west Kurdistan, their authorities should know KRG is the only source to grow its relations politically and economically, for instance, lots of western Kurdish are living in south working and studying. Beside those, the role of mass media in achieving the emotion of the Kurds in other parts is important.

Culturally and educationally: KRG can achieve the emotions of the Kurdish people in other Kurdish parts through mass media. The medium of this region have to work accurately on that process via making documentary or setting up a private channel for other parts and cultural foundations have to concentrate on with activities like inviting artist and authors as well. Also, those Kurdish who live outside the great Kurdistan like Failies in Baghdad, in Iran (Khorasan), Russia, Jordan, Israel, etc, they have a spiritual relation with Kurdish nation and they have several famous authors, artists, singers and so on, it is very necessary to participate them on the TV interviews. Obviously, creating an atmosphere to increase intimacy of the culture of KRG in the next it will reinforce south policy. In contrast, the Kurdish enemies are always working on mass media due to diminish the Kurdish nationalism. Although, medium have a negative role on those people who live abroad because most of them forget their native language. So, it is not difficult to have an impact on our nation because our national emotions encourage us to achieve our national goal.

In conclusion, I would like to say, it is not fair to work on the internal issues. Currently, most of the countries feel our existence as an independent country and we must think about our great aim which is expanding our national game by building a robust relation with all Kurds around the world. KRG is in front of the historical responsibility to play this international game and collect all Kurdish people under one ceiling then other parts might be helpful according to their capability.
