The last Turkish attack on the Syrian ground under the control of the Kurds was a shameful decision that has happened. Also, it demonstrates a paramount issue that has built the universe system on the principle of the countries that have sovereignty.
The content of sovereignty relates to the Westphalia agreement in 1648, the agreement has concentrated on altering the government content toward a secular state with a total power inside a provincial border while its trespass is not permitted. The treaty made as a diplomatic solution due to prohibit religious clashes between the royal and feudal provinces.
After sacking the monarchy system in Europe, the idea of the nation has found in order to eject those people who were not native such as German, Italy and Poland. Then, the national state became the real but the situation got worst and starting the war, the Europeans dismissed those who were not agreeing with the notion of racism such as Frances, Germanys and Italians. Furthermore, the colonialists supported that as well.
The content of sovereignty is the reason for annihilating the minority through the majority. In the past century, the giant countries have deceived the Kurds by their promises while the Kurds didn’t have another alternative that’s why they believed to the powerful countries. But that problem doesn’t belong to the Kurds only, for instance, the Rohingyan refugees have fixed between two countries no one is ready due to supporting them.
Moreover, in the Second World War, the United States was ready to participate in that war for the sake of protecting France’s territory security whereas America refused to accept the refugees who fled from the Holocaust. Honestly, the national state system has created in order to protect the state and its nations not saving those people who live outside their countries! It’s true several times the gigantic countries deliver their concern to the weak countries but in reality, they are not ready to support them practically. The political situation got worst even the conflicts among the powerful countries hit the climax within fifty years.
For that reason, the nongovernmental political players, the terrorist groups and the polychrome companies show a great rule on the world policy and classic geopolitical theory which illustrates the malfunction of the international state system.
The national state system has exercised through all its drawbacks like colonialism, persecution and the ruined wars on the right to the self-determination, as a result, it has failed. At the present time, we need a system to evaluate international happenings and step forwards. We need a system to admit the minority rights and those who don’t have their own states via participating them in the power status.
