The media situation in the universe is different from one place to another and has been changed from a period to another; therefore, for evaluating media mechanism the places and steps are essential issues. On one hand, in a comparison of media situations for two different places like; Baghdad and London. In London has high quality of expression, liberty, autonomy of media works, financial situations, professionalism, languages, and private sectors. In Baghdad has very tough situation to all mentioned fields. On the other hand, if we compare the new Iraq with Sadam’s period, it can be seen several developments in media situations. The current media circumstances are more professionals and better than that period, this is because of the democracy progress and developments of technologies.

Kurdistan media develop more than media sector in Iraq, but within this progress, many problems have been noticed:

1)Lack of standard language, particularly in written media which can observe diverse dialects.

2)Achieve information; this is one of the most important problems of Kurdish journalists.

3)The safety of the journalists: since 2003 many journalists has been killed and faced the threat and destroy their cameras and other media equipments.

4)Financial crisis.

5)Society combination of (religion, nationality, and tribal), these differences push the journalists cannot report freely on sensitive subjects, because this may cause of social security conflicts.

6)Technology problems: this occurred on online websites and this is called electronic war, especially during election campaigns which some attempt to hack others.

7)Few of Kurdish reader focus on published papers like magazine, and newspaper etc.

8)Another main problem in front of (journalists, writers, cameramen, and inventors etc.) presents Copyright.

9)Corruption of some journalists with political leaderships by giving money, houses, cars just to write down on them in a positive way.

Kurdish media in a tunnel that can be seen a little brighten on the other side of the tunnel; therefore, the hope to overcome all these difficulties is very weak.
